Mark passed away from cancer on May 29, 2006.

The year Mark passed was our first year racing karts. Unfortunately his illness prevented him from attending any of our races but Nash said something that first year that I will always remember. One night in our post race talk Nash stated that Mark had been there pushing him past the other karts. The little guy is pretty fast so who knows!
